A traditional three-bar inn with true pub values run for the modern age, the Hare is a true country local in the heart of Harlow. A stone’s throw from the centre right opposite Princess Alexandra Hospital, the Hare has been a Mac’s pub since 1897. Pop in for a swift bite to eat from our great value, extensive menu, revitalise yourself with our locally brewed real ales, cocktails and popular wines. Perfect! Step away from the madding crowds and relax. Pool and darts are available in the public bar, while the Snug’s got more privacy, and the lounge is dedicated to dining in truly relaxing surroundings. You can even dine alfresco on the patio, weather permitting. In line with our licence conditions, children are welcome in the public bar until 8:30pm and in the Lounge bar until 10pm as long as they are with a parent/guardian. Due to the listed building’s shape, wheelchair access and accessible toilet are available in the smaller bar only.
