About
The bunker was built around 39/40 for use by the RAF as a RADAR filter room. The Home Guard (and some the the ROC) occupied it for some years after the war. In the late 80s it was renovated and hardened (nuclear, bio and chemical). Early in the 90s - after the fall of the Berlin wall - the building was adopted by the Highland Regional Council as an Emergency Response Centre. Tours of the bunker are guided and by appointment only. No walk-ins. Please contact us on the information provided below.
