Big Sky Lodges is our collection of Scandinavian log cabins and quirky holiday places in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. Set among meadows grazed by Highland cows and horses, surrounded by natural birch woodland and forest and just ten miles to the north of Inverness. The Big Sky croft is the perfect base for exploring the spectacular Black Isle and whole of the Highlands and Islands. Get back to nature exploring our woodland, building dens and watching the wildlife and coos go by. Spend a day hillwalking and return to a welcoming cosy and colourful cabin, where you can finish your day with a wee dram under the stars while the firepit crackles. We have six beautiful Finnish log cabins, a vintage style glamping caravan and coming soon, an adventure themed croft loft. All with toasty wood burners, beautiful natural surroundings with perfect comfort and a touch of Scottish Style. Our six beautiful lodges were created in Finland from hard wearing polar pine, grown in sustainable forests in Lapland. From the smell of wood when you enter the lodge, to the Red Kites flying over the croft, our focus is on enjoying nature and the peace and tranquility of the Scottish countryside. Some of our places are pet friendly for up to two dogs with wonderful walks right on the doorstep. We have WIFI if you need it, but why not take a break from technology and snuggle up under a cosy blanket with a glass of wine, watching the coos munching away as the sun sets. We’re here to help with any extras you’d like to make your stay special. Delicious Scottish breakfasts from our butcher, home grown veg, or something special to celebrate a proposal.
