Grizedale Mountain Bikes was a bike hire centre in Grizedale Forest in The Lake District. Today it has amalgamated with Lake District Bike Hire Ltd, where bikes are hired from our base in Lowick. We have an extensive bike rental fleet of over 100 bikes of all types and sizes, specialising in E-BIKES. We also regularly sell off our ex-hire bikes. These bikes have been used in our hire fleet and maintained by professional bike mechanics, making them a fantastic 2nd hand bike! The hire centre in Lowick caters for all riders from 1yr old upwards. We have trailers and tag-a-longs for younger riders, through to full suspension bikes for more ambitious riders. This is coupled with a comprehensive hire fleet of Electric bikes and road bikes of every size and type. Free parking on site while renting bikes. OPEN ALL YEAR, long term rentals at reduced hire fees. Informative guided bike tours available on or off road.
