High Borrans Holt is a centrally heated, 1 bedroom self catering holiday lodge at High Borrans Farm near Windermere. Taking its name from the den of an otter, High Borrans Holt has been inspired by nature and the woodland it is nestled up to. Capturing the evening sunlight perfectly, Holt comes into its own when alfresco dining on the decking. During the daytime the dappled sunlight trickles into the lodge through the woodland trees creating a warm glow and idyllic ambience. Located just off the A591, High Borrans Lodge Park is the ideal place to explore from, with bridleways and footpaths leading to walks such as Orrest Head, Garburn Pass and Sour Howes and Sallows (a Wainwright) perfect for intrepid adventurers. Holt lodge is unable to accommodate dogs. Starter toilet roll and tissues. Dustpan and brush. Clothes airer and Oscillating Fan. Security safe. THINGS TO NOTE.... Strictly no children or infants are permitted at High Borrans. High Borrans is a working farm so dogs must be kept under strict control at all times. Secure wifi is available in the lodge Mobile phone signal is very patchy in the surrounding area. There is a free to use onsite laundry room in the small stone building at the entrance to the lodge park. This includes 2 washing machines, tumble dyer, iron and ironing board. There is also additional shared freezer storage space (plus some spare dog towels in case of need). Arrival is from 4pm. Departure by 10am.
