About

B&B has one kingsize ensuite with sofa, tv, radio/cd, tea & coffee making facilities, library of guide books, large rain head shower and access to owners sun terrace with sitting out furniture. Self contained, ground floor holiday accommodation has one kingsize bed and one occasional 4ft wide sofa bed in the lounge. Central heating with a wood burning stove, partial underfloor heating and a wet room. Sonos music system. All guests have private, on site, off road parking. Secure bike storage available. The building is a c.300 yr old Lakeland barn, is Grade 2 Listed and is one of the oldest residentially occupied buildings in Ambleside. We are located at the centre of the Lake District National Park and only a three minute walk down ancient lanes to the centre of Ambleside. The barn is ideal for walkers and cyclists and people who love the great outdoors. We are fell walkers ourselves and love to help our guests explore this wonderful part of the UK.
