Welcome to Lacet House, our friendly family run B&B located in Ambleside, the heart of the Lake District now with UNESCO World Heritage status. We love welcoming guests from all over the world to our home. Walks for all abilities can start from the front door including the waters of Rydal, Grasmere and Windermere. If your here to tick off some Wainwrights then this is the perfect place to start. Shaun & Louise are passionate about the area and enjoy sharing their knowledge of the fells to ensure you get the most out of your stay. Each room has fell views including Loughrigg and Red Screes. Rooms offer a flat screen TV, free WIFI, hairdryer and tea & coffee making facilities. With twin, family, double & super-king rooms available for your stay. Breakfast is a relaxed affair offering cereal's, porridge, croissants and fresh fruit & yoghurt, followed if you choose by your own bespoke full cooked breakfast with locally sourced ingredients where possible. We also offer full vegetarian and vegan breakfast's to start your day. Free parking is available to our guests on our private car park. We also have the perfect couples retreat in the centre of Ambleside, Knipe Cottage our self-catering cottage.
