A typical Cumbrian house from outside, Oaks Restaurant is a traditional, warm space, decorated to a high standard with a nod to the past in its beams and swagged curtains. The award winning kitchen is Michelin recommended with a daily changing menu created to reflect the seasons and locally available produce. Thoroughly modern and imaginative, head chef Gareth Owen���s menus offer a taste of Britain with just a hint of Mediterranean flavour. A collection of simple signature dishes including steaks and delicious poached salmon have recently been added to the menu.
