Our one Michelin Star restaurant, overseen by Executive Chef Ollie Bridgwater (formerly of Heston Blumenthal’s three Michelin Star ‘Fat Duck’), is a standout in the Lake District. SOURCE at Gilpin Hotel combines exquisite produce, distinct flavours, seasonality, sustainability, and precision, along with exceptional service, to create a fun, fine dining experience. We offer two evening tasting menus at SOURCE. The ‘ORIGIN‘ menu is a shorter experience, providing an excellent introduction to our concept with the same creativity and techniques over fewer courses. The ‘SOURCE‘ menu offers a longer, immersive culinary journey, showcasing seasonality and fresh new dishes—the ultimate SOURCE at Gilpin Hotel experience. Both options can be tailored with a choice of starter, main course, and dessert, allowing you to create a personalised Michelin Star tasting menu each time. Additionally, we have an exciting new lunch-tasting menu (with a choice of main) available on Fridays and Saturdays.
