Everyone needs a place to lay their weary head, Ouse Bridge House is an excellent choice for rest and rejuvenation, overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake with the mighty Skiddaw in the background. Eight rooms are en-suite, some with views over Bassenthwaite Lake and a ground floor available for those people less able to manage stairs. We can accommodate travellers with dogs in all of our rooms. A wonderful base from which to explore the lakes having easy access to both Keswick and Cockermouth. Enjoy a full English breakfast ready for your adventures, be it walking, cycling or sailing. Around the corner from us is The Lake District Distillery which offers tours around the distillery which has a lovely cafe with outside seating to enjoy tasty treats and coffee. There is also The Pheasant Inn within walking distance as well as the award winning Bassenthwaite Lake Train Station Cafe.
