The Angles Theatre, a historic Georgian playhouse nestled in the market town of Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, stands proudly among Britain's oldest theatres. Believed to have been established in 1790 as part of the Lincoln theatre circuit, it served as a central hub for regular performances until 1850. In 1978, it was reborn as The Angles, a vibrant theatre and arts venue. The theatre complex comprises the original theatre building and a former library, initially an 'infant' school built in 1837.
