Nestled in the rugged Cairngorm National Park, Dalwhinnie Distillery is the highest operating distillery in Scotland, perched at 326 m (1,070 ft) above sea level. Founded in 1898 by John Grant, George Sellar and Alexander Mackenzie, it remains a Diageo property and is celebrated for its warm, approachable Highland single‑malt whiskies.
