Situated at the Top of Sutton Bank on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and over looking the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Wethercote Farm Campsite is ideal for Walking, Scenic drives, sight seeing, cycling or relaxing. 10 miles from Helmsley, 10 miles from Thirsk and the Herriot museum, 28 miles from York and 40 miles from Whitby. We class our site as a peaceful location being away from main roads and surrounded by beautiful views and wildlife. COMING SOON for 2022 we will have a Bell Tent available with amazing sky view clear roof! The CS site has 6 grass pitches with electric hook up points and 10 further basic grass pitches and the non members site is basic grass pitches only. We have a shower and toilet unit with hot water included, a washing up shed also with included hot water. Rubbish and recycling area and a chemical toilet waste point. There are drinking water taps around the site and fire pits and logs available. Wethercote Farm is a mixed arable and livestock farm run by Richard and his Father Terry. The farm produces Beef and Lamb and various crops including barley and wheat. Fliss keeps Herdwick sheep and hens and sells her free range eggs and other seasonal produce from the farmhouse.
