Opened on the 29th of May 2020, Dumbarnie Links was founded, developed and designed by renowned course architect and former Ryder Cup player, Clive Clark. The extensive 345-acre site at Dumbarnie is particularly special. Its dual elevations, which are connected by a flowing escarpment, have provided the opportunity to create 8 elevated tees where holes play directly towards panoramic views of the expansive Firth of Forth and are in the direct framing of the golf hole. The exciting design incorporates three potentially driveable Par-4s and features many thought-provoking holes that engender 'risk and reward'. This true links was designed to inspire and elicit anticipation rather than intimidate golfers. “WHAT FUN” should be on the lips of golfers as they walk off the 18th green. Host of the Women's Scottish Open, Dumbarnie Links is already on many golfers 'Must Play' lists when in the St Andrews area.
