Recently renovated B Listed Store converted into top class accommodation with restaurant, Bar and snug with a cosy log fire and soft seating. This iconic building sits in the heart of Historic Kirkwall and is a stones throw away from lots of lovely independent shops. With eight luxurious en-suite rooms on the upper two floors with lift access and they have all been individually designed by local owners Judith Glue and David Spence . Each has their own Orcadian story to tell like our superior Rackwick room influenced by the spectacular valley on the Island of Hoy in Orkney. bathroom has underfloor heating with mist free lit up mirror, large double ended bath and rainfall shower. There are original re cycled wooden features mixing the old with the new, luxurious furnishings with blackout curtains and an original painting of Rackwick hanging above the super king size bed. All the rooms have flat screen TVs , free WIFI tea and coffee making tray with fresh milk and local shortbread.
