A unique opportunity to learn more about the Friesian horse and the strict studbook they belong to. Get up close and personal, find out what it's like to be around these magical black beauties of the horse world. We offer a range of experiences on our friendly yard including - 'Meet the Horses' where we give you a tour of the farm and an introduction to the Friesian family and those here under our sanctuary scheme, The 'Yard Experience' - as hands on as you want it. An afternoon or morning meeting and handling the horses, help prepare them for work, watch them working, ask questions and take many photos! Then we have the 'Friesian Friendship Barn' - here you can lock yourself away in a beautiful custom built barn with one of our Friesians. Sit back on a comfy sofa under the atmospheric lighting with a coffee and simply enjoy their company or get stuck in with some grooming, cuddling and scratching under the infrared solarium. Your chosen Friesian is the ultimate therapist!
