Primarily we are Coffee Roasters & Tea Merchants in the Shop next door established 1837 - We annexed The Hall in 2012 and converted it to our green bean warehouse, packaging & despatch, offices, training room and bakery, oh, and we put a bar in there to serve coffees the way we wanted to serve them, on a vintage 1959 Faema lever espresso machine and a Brew Bar featuring syphons. We use our two cafes to practise what we preach to the many other cafes we supply in the independent sector. They come here for training an inspiration. Our amazing friend Debbie creates her incredible cakes in the beautifully kitted-out Bakery now joined by the multi-talented Saffa who has launched us into offering a stunning new savoury menu full of fresh contemporary mediterranean/middle-eastern twists & fusions. Everything is made in-house in small batches - just like our coffees. We buy only the best ingredients and taste pretty much everything we make. Luckily roasting coffee keeps you fit!
