BUNK HOUSE - South Lake District, located at Beck Head near Witherslack, under Whitbarrow Scar nature reserve. Nestled in peaceful, ancient woodland. Its a perfect base for touring by bike into the Lakes and around to the west coast. The bunk house has been designed with walkers, cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts in mind. Located near national cycle routes W2W, NCN 70/700, Coast to Coast, Bay Cycle Way, Lakes & Dales Loop. Fantastic for quiet low level walking, Cumbria Way, Cumbria Coastal Way, with views to the Central Lakes and over Morecambe Bay. With 14 beds, bunks and singles - in 4 rooms (2, 2, 4 and 6 person), all with ensuite shower facilities. Self catering, communal kitchen / diner, 2 lounges - one with a wood burner, laundry, drying room, secure bike store/wash, outdoor seating area, parking. The bunk house can be booked by the room from one night or the entire place for a minimum of 2 nights.
