Located in south Lake District at Witherslack between Grange Over Sands and Kendal under Whitbarrow Scar nature reserve, 7 miles from Lake Windermere. Very peaceful, nestled in ancient woodlands and surrounded by wildlife, twitchers heaven. On national cycle routes W2W, NCN 70/700/6, Coast to Coast, Bay Cycle Way, Lakes & Dales Loop, LeJog A6 3 miles. Fantastic for quiet low level walking on Cumbria Way. 4 en suite rooms with a total capacity of 14. Available on a room basis for touring cyclists or can be booked exclusively for groups (not a party barn!). FACILITIES : Parking, drying room, laundry, secure bike store, bike wash, 4 bed rooms with ensuite shower rooms Kitchen Diner Lounges – one upstairs one downstairs with wood burner.Outside seating with BBQ bench and fire pit. Garden with bench looking to uninterrupted views of Whitbarrow Scar and up to the central Lakes.
