Lydford House offers high quality Bed & Breakfast on Dartmoor whilst also specialising in sustainable processes, reducing waste and plastic consumption, using a plastic free approach where ever possible. Attracting nature enthusiasts from around the world, Lydford House has a refreshing approach to accomodation on Dartmoor for environmentally conscious travellers and those seeking a peaceful and luxurious experience. All our mattresses are hand crafted locally from Dartmoor wool, and our pillows a filled with natural wool. The Victorian building was originally commissioned by the artist William Widgery in 1881, and today guests enjoy its beautiful decor, location and its modern facilities. Surrounded by scenes of Dartmoor National Park and located in the idyllic and historic village of Lydford, with access directly onto Route 27 Illfracombe to Plymouth, The Granite Way and The Dartmoor Way.
