The Knaresborough Heritage Centre is family friendly, bringing extraordinary and wide ranging history to life, offering locals & visitors alike an interesting & informative opportunity to experience the extensive history, archaeology and culture of this vibrant tourist destination. Local volunteer run charity Knaresborough Museum Association (KMA) runs the Centre which provides monthly talks, weekly guided walks, a small heritage shop and a rolling programme of exhibitions in their fully refurbished museum gallery. Entry is free although donations are very welcome to enable the Centre to be sustainable and provide outreach educational workshops for schools.
