The Fav bar and kitchen is the soul of the venue. Set in the intimate surroundings of the Fav Conservatory and Victorian lounge, we also have a large adjoining terrace for alfresco drinking and dining when the British weather permits. For us, it is all about serving up flavoursome food and offering a well-curated selection of drinks in a welcoming and vibrant environment. We are passionate about what we serve to you. All of our food is homemade and fresh, and we work with local suppliers to make sure we are using the best ingredients. We only use free-range or ethically farmed produce and avoid air freighting unless absolutely necessary - even our chorizo is from Yorkshire! We love a good hop and our bar is stocked with a diverse range of craft beers and ales from a rotating selection of brewers. Most recently we've stocked the likes of Five Points Brewing Company, Yorkshire Brewery, Magic Rock and East London Brewery. All of our coffee is supplied by local espresso bar, La Bottega Milanese, who use ethically and sustainably sourced coffee beans roasted right here in Yorkshire. All the coffee is Direct Trade. This alternative trading model delivers better quality coffee than fair trade and pays a higher wage to farmers. In addition, we also have a variety of food, drink and music events taking place in the conservatory.
