About
The Fox and Newt is a traditional Real Ale pub with its own microbrewery in the cellar. Originally built as the Rutland Hotel, it now serves as a solid real ale house with contemporary additions. We have grown to become established pub with a great food menu, including lunchtime meals, pub classics like our own beer battered fish and chips, steaks and a popular grill menu and our famous Safari Burgers!- Listing exotic meats such as Crocodile, Kobe, Kangaroo and many more. We also have a live music venue which plays host to a variety of gig nights from Cabaret to Jazz to Punk. Our affiliation with Leeds CAMRA is strong and our own homebrewed beers 'The Burley Street Brewhouse' has only gone from strength to strength.
