The Tannin Level
About
Established in 1985, and located on Raglan Street, just off Princess Square in the heart of Harrogate, The Tannin Level has become something of an institution. Renowned for its wines (its name is a wine term after all!) as well as its food, it has garnered an enviable reputation as one of Harrogate’s foremost independent restaurants. Set on the ground floor of a Victorian Yorkshire mansion, its many original features combine to create the unique Tannin Level ambience. The food is modern British with a Tannin Level twist and is prepared using only the very best seasonal ingredients, locally sourced wherever possible. As you might expect, everything is freshly prepared by the Tannin Level’s chefs, which also means that if you have any special requirements, the team can usually oblige. The menus cover everything from tasty lunchtime sandwiches and tasting plates, an early bird for those wishing to dine before 7.00pm, through to the full a la carte experience.
