Little railway, BIG adventures! Whistlestop Valley is a popular tourist attraction featuring the Kirklees Light Railway's narrow-gauge steam trains, outdoor playgrounds, an ice cream/dessert parlour, a miniature ride-on railway, a pizza cafe, large free car park, a gift/toy shop, special events and experiences throughout the year. Great value annual passes are available too! Whistlestop Valley is usually open to the public most weekends, Bank Holidays and local school holidays, with special toddler/pre-schooler days on selected Mondays and Fridays. Please check our website for the most up-to-date opening times. Tickets can be booked online in advance.
