Come and join us for unique food experiences enjoyable for people of all ages (children between 10 and 16 need to be accompanied by an adult). We have two pie making experiences available: the 'Pie Making Experience' on a Tuesday or Wednesday is a fun and informal evening including a brief talk about the history of the Melton Mowbray Pork Pie, farming and conservation and the highlight of the evening is your chance to make your very own Melton Mowbray Pork Pie! The 'Ultimate Pie Making Workshop' is a half day in depth pork pie cookery class followed by an optional Ploughman's lunch or afternoon tea. Available on Saturdays and Sundays. Whichever experience you choose, you will have your very own 'Handmade in Melton Mowbray' authentic pork pie to take home, jelly, bake and enjoy! Alternatively, join us on a Monday evening to learn the art of making bread by hand. You'll make two delicious loaves during the session and we challenge you not to tuck in to them before you get home!
