Bar & Music Venue #getintheshed The Shed first opened its doors in 1994, and became a core part of Leicester’s music scene thanks to the legend that is Kevin Holyland. In 2017, it became time for the venue to grow and develop, and is now run by a new team of dedicated and obsessive music lovers. After an extensive refurb, the venue re-opened it's doors on 1st April 2017. Situated in Leicester’s emerging Cultural Quarter, the venue has always been a new place to discover emerging musical talent. Now, you can also discover your new favourite artist and take home their work (check out the walls when you walk in), and of course there's always the possibility of seeing the next big musical act live. Now open from midday Monday - Saturday, it's no longer just a music venue. We have outstanding coffee and super fast wifi, so you can hang out or host your meetings here. Of course, live music is still at the heart of what we do and will always do.
