Katja's Cakes, mobile coffee shop the " UNKENWAGEN" has moved into a permanent cafe the "UNKEN KAFFEE" at the Sumburgh head lighthouse. We offer a great variety of delicious German cakes, also lots of gluten free options too. There is always a daily special served with a full dressed salad and of course the famous Unken Bun. Our house blend coffee is very popular and keeps our happy customers coming back. We have a good selection of teas and the Unken hot chocolate as we are told frequently, "its the best"! All our cakes and pastries are made only using local butter and dairy and during the light season we get as many of our eggs from local crofters as is available. The cafe offers hands down the best panoramic views in Shetland and our friendly staff will make you feel right at home. We hope to see you soon. Katja
