The Straw Bale Cafe and Straw Bale Farm Shop are part of Greenslate Community Farm in Billinge, Near Wigan. The cafe offers a varied menu featuring produce grown on the farm. We offer an all day breakfast menu, an exciting range of daily specials, home baked cakes made with organic flour and great range of coffee and tea. Our cafe is dog friendly with dog treats available. The menu features a large range of Vegetarian and Vegan offers, together with many gluten free cakes and products. The Straw Bale Farm Shop follows the same guiding principles as the rest of the farm, with sustainable, local and ethical featuring in our buying choices. We have foods from Suma, Organico, Biona, Clipper, Doves Farm, Meridian and Whole Earth. The shop is also working to limit single use plastics by stocking products from Non Plastic Beach, together with our own range of staple food items that you can weigh out yourself and bring in your own packaging.
