Amgueddfa ac Oriel Gelf yng nghanol dinas Bangor. Mae’r amgueddfa’n dwyn ynghyd gasgliadau hanes cymdeithasol o bob rhan o’r gogledd, gyda phwyslais arbennig ar Wynedd. “Nod Gwasanaeth Amgueddfeydd Gwynedd yw casglu eitemau, gofalu amdanynt, eu gwarchod, eu harddangos a’u dehongli ar sail hanes a chymeriad unigryw Gwynedd a sicrhau bod y casgliadau hyn yn ysbrydoli ac yn addysgu a’u bod ar gael i bawb eu mwynhau mewn ffordd ddiduedd a chynhwysol.” Gwynedd Museum and Art Gallery in the heart of Bangor city. The museum brings together social history collections from across north Wales, with particular emphasis on Gwynedd. “The aim of Gwynedd Museums Service is to collect, care for, preserve, exhibit and interpret galleries/items based on the unique history and character of Gwynedd and ensure that these collections inspire and educate and are available for all to enjoy impartially and inclusively.”
