Located in the heart of Carmarthen, The Warren is an award-winning independent restaurant led by Deri Reed, the BBC Food & Farming Awards Community Food Champion 2024. Known for his passion for sustainability and ethical food, Deri has built The Warren around a commitment to local, seasonal produce and community-driven dining. Beyond serving delicious, ethically sourced meals, The Warren proudly supports Cegin Hedyn, a community kitchen and allotment project that operates on a ‘pay what you can’ model to ensure that everyone has access to nourishing food. The Cegin Hedyn allotments grow fresh vegetables to help supply its kitchen, reinforcing our belief in a sustainable, local food system. Through our Pay It Forward scheme, guests can also contribute towards meals for those in need, helping us create a more inclusive and supportive food culture.
