Kilmartin Castle is a unique Scottish castle experience! Built in 1550 for John Carswell, the Rector of Kilmartin, & later Bishop Of The Isles, the castle can be found in one of the richest archeological areas of Scotland. It was held by the Campbell Clan before being abandoned as a ruin for 200 years. Kilmartin Castle is now restored! We have held on tight to the rustic character of this 16th century castle, whilst adding luxury wherever possible, with underfloor heating, walk-in rain showers and big copper tubs. This is not just any holiday home. We travelled around Scotland in 2014 and were so disappointed that we could not find a castle to stay in that 'felt like' a castle, that we decided to restore one ourselves. Kilmartin Castle is now our home and we are so happy to share it with you. We will be offering a mix of bed and breakfast as well as exclusive use throughout 2020, and from 2021 we will be offing exclusive stays. Bed and Breakfast | We have 4 bed and breakfast rooms which all sleep 2 (min 2 night stay) Exclusive use | Kilmartin Castle sleeps 10 in 5 bedrooms (stay 3, 5 or 7 nights)
