Nestled in the heart of Covent Garden, the 1989 Clubhouse is the ideal location for business or pleasure. Relax and experience the opulence of our iconic building that has stood on the edge of Seven Dials for decades. The luxury interior is adorned of leather in carmine red and inky black that looks as if it might have been cribbed from a fin-de-siècle Parisian restaurant. Featuring banquettes, walls and ceilings composed of button back leather, heavy brocaded curtains, and areas embellished with Swarovski crystals, the space gives an atmosphere of Moulin Rouge meets Studio 54. It is the perfect place to enjoy our pan-asian inspired menu and selection of fine wines, champagnes and cocktails. The 1989 Clubhouse is a membership club, if you are not a member you can become a member for the night and be granted temporary membership. Temporary Membership requires you to sign in with our host and present your ID for scanning upon entry. This status is complementary but will only last for 24 hours and can only be granted once in a calendar year.
