About

The tradition of Afternoon Tea is a very special part of English culture dating back to Victorian times. Come and learn how to make Afternoon Tea, the history, presentation, etiquette and best of all - enjoy tucking into a delicious spread in an elegant but cosy Victorian drawing room! These Tuesday morning classes (10am - 1.45pm) are given by Giuliana Orme - author of "Afternoon Tea at Home Made Simple". Many students who have attended Giuliana's afternoon tea class have requested extra baking lessons and these classes are available on Wednesdays (10am -1.30pm). You can chose from Baking lessons A (where you can learn to make Victoria Sandwich, Sherry Fruit Trifle and Florentine Biscuits) or B (Lemon Curd, Cheese Scones and Ritz Torte) which are available on alternate Wednesdays - see the website for the class schedule. Giuliana's afternoon tea class has been featured in the following publications: - West Jet Magazine - ‘Off Road’ (YouTube) - Asiana Airlines Magazine - ‘The Secluded Tea Party’ - Evening Standard - Fuji TV - Reuters - a Japanese Newspaper - Russian TV - Global Traveller Magazine
