Bun&Bar says it serves “GOOD-MOOD-FOOD”, but it may as well add the words “with style” to that slogan. The food menu is made up entirely of burgers: they range from the traditional fare – cheeseburgers, chicken burgers and “belly buster” made with 6hr smoked pulled beef brisket to add further to the meat feasts unique vegetarian options have been clearly thought through. A lot of attention has gone into preparing ingredients here. The vegetarian burgers contain Portobello mushrooms, goats’ cheese and vegetarian patties, while the beef has been aged for several days. All are served in specially-baked soft buns that have a deliciously delicate and thin crispy layer. The decoration in Bun&Bar’s layout makes it a distinctive venue not just in Harringay Green Lanes, but across London. The ceiling is adorned with century-old vintage crates used to carry apples to soldiers in France while the lighting is uniquely designed with old copper piping.
