Welcome to Ekte Nordic Kitchen - a taste of the North. Danish-born restaurateur Søren Jessen, who has owned chic City stalwart 1 Lombard Street since 1998, opened Ekte Nordic Kitchen along the Bloomberg Arcade in the City of London in 2018. Ekte, meaning genuine or real in Norwegian, offers a varied Nordic menu with each dish taking inspiration from the Northern hemisphere. Using only carefully sourced, sustainable ingredients, Ekte’s menus celebrate everything each season has to offer using only the very best of British produce. The Scandinavian-influenced Restaurant and Bar is open from Monday-Saturday from 11:30am until 22:30pm.
