Gymkhana is a two‑Michelin‑starred restaurant located in Mayfair’s 42 Albemarle Street, inspired by the elite clubs of India. Founded in 2013 by the JKS Restaurants group, it quickly earned its first Michelin star in 2014 and a second in 2024, making it the first Indian restaurant in the United Kingdom to hold dual Michelin accolades. The menu focuses on classic North Indian dishes prepared with seasonal British ingredients, featuring signature tandoor‑roasted meats and the traditional chapatta share plates that invite communal dining. In addition to the restaurant’s flagship location, Gymkhana has expanded internationally with a fine‑food retail brand – Gymkhana Fine Foods – and a cocktail lounge above the original space, adding a sophisticated drinks lounge that showcases Indian‑inspired cocktails.
