The Imperial Arms is an award winning, family run GastroPub & dating back to 1787. seating up to 40 for drinks and dining. We also have a beautiful Bistro/Function room which seats up to 24 or up to 35 for a function with buffet. Both were refurbished and designed by family member, the interior designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard. The Pub is cosy, warm and inviting with two bars. The Library Bar and the Catherine Bar, named after the Mistress of Napoleon 111 who stayed here when he was exiled to Chislehurst in 1870. Both sell delicious, reasonably priced, homemade food and have become famous for our higher welfare Sunday roasts with organic veg being awarded second bet Sunday roast in a pub in the whole of the UK. We also have excellent reasonably priced wine lists and beautifully kept Real Ales
