In 1994, Red Pepper Restaurant set the standard for independent mid-price Italian restaurants in London by opening its doors to the public. It's secret: authentic pizza baked in its wood-burning oven brought over from Italy. Some of our regulars swear it's the best pizza in London and who are we to disagree? But Red Pepper is not just about pizza. We are dedicated to the best regional Italian cooking, from places seldom featured on most "nouveau Italian" menus - dishes from Sardinia, the Campania and the south; home-made, melt in the mouth pasta; sauces based on game and seafood, grills of the best, freshest catches of the day.
