Our menu is easy to read, well divided into sections, clearly priced and printed on high quality card. Both customers and staff feel it is user friendly. We have tried introducing new fish lines, but customers still go for their favourites such as Cod, Haddock and Plaice. We have added shellfish to our menu with some success. Description of Serene is of a high class Fish & Chips shop, we home deliver and customers also have the option to eat-in, where we ensure we provide a friendly service. Our menu is not influenced by season, although our main menu is changed once a year, we are constantly changing our shop menu. On occasion a customer might ask for a dish that is not on our menu. If it sounds interesting to us, then we try it and then if it's worthwhile, we name it after that person We have quite a few awards including Archants Food & Drink, Community Award, Seafish Quality Award amongst a few. We also support local charity events such as schools and a tennis club for young people. The main charity we are supporting is the Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen.
