About

St James Garlickhythe is known as Wren's Lantern because of the beauty of the light. It was built after the Great Fire of London and has the highest nave ceiling of any Wren City church. It boasts many original features and is a living Christian presence in the heart of the City. It is also 'home' to the ghost of Dick Whittington's cat and mummified body, known as Jimmy Garlick!
