About
St Katharine Docks is Central London's only marina and a thriving waterfront precinct. Originally opened in 1828 as a commercial dock, it was closed in 1968 and later redeveloped into a mixed-use complex with shops, restaurants, a hotel and housing overlooking the Thames. The quay is a popular leisure destination, home to the weekly World Food Market, a rotating selection of international street‑food stalls, as well as a pub, the Dickens Inn, and a range of dining venues. The area has also served as a filming location for several films and music videos. The marina remains an accessible, family‑friendly spot for boaters and walk‑by visitors alike.
