About
A Grade I listed Anglo-Catholic church dating back to 1872. One of the finest examples of Neo-Gothic Architecture, and considered to be the masterpiece of the architect G E Street. The building also includes an iconic crypt chapel designed by Sir Ninian Comper. As well as being a working church, St Mary Magdalene is also home to a vibrant community arts and heritage programme, and offers a diverse schedule of events (including concerts, tours, family theatre, and heritage talks).
