About

The Blue Stoops, a new public house on Kensington Church Street, comes from the team behind the legendary Allsopp’s Brewery, and is on a mission to revive the serving of frothing pints of naturally fermented ale. Founder Jamie Allsopp will open the pub in homage to the original Blue Stoops in Burton-upon-Trent, where his family brewed from 1730. As for dining, the serving of simple, seasonal English food in the pub’s bar and dining room is a prerequisite. To that end Jamie has recruited a sympathetic chef-guide in Lorcan Spiteri, Founder of Caravel, the much-loved barge-restaurant on the Regent’s Canal.
