The Swan Inn where you will find a great selection of beers and real ales on tap, wines, spirits, hot drinks, light meals and a warm friendly welcome from the team! The Swan is a Grade II listed 17th Century traditional coaching inn located on the High Street in heart of the village of Markyate. Featuring the original exposed internal timber frames, an open fireplace that is lit during the winter, various cosy areas to sit down to chat, or pull up a stool to the main bar. In addition to the main pub, the Swan has its own separate function room – The Barn – at 300 years old, the Barn has been converted sympathetically to a modern space which can cater for all needs. A true local in Markyate, we’re a great place to meet up with friends and swap stories.
