About The White Swan is very much traditional English/Irish pub situated in the heart of his lovely historic market town also known as Verulamium,the third largest of Roman Britain. With its own tail of endless history from the last 250 years, The White Swan is proud to be sited within the bells of our Abbey, St. Albans Cathedral. Affectionately known by locals as the "Dirty Duck". We have a warm and welcoming atmosphere, a range of beers, ale, wines and spirits. A brilliant venue for live music Thursday to Sunday. Late Licence Friday and Saturday until 02:00. Although we do not have a specific function room we have both the lounge bar and the "snug" bar available for private and small business functions. warm yourself by the open log fire in the winter and enjoy the cosy atmosphere. Sky Sports and BT Sport showing all live sporting events on five large HD screens
