At Manchester Wine School our motto is “Helping Manchester drink better wine.” Our aim is to inspire and educate, and we run dozens of courses each year catering for anyone and everyone from absolute beginner to seasoned professional. We also offer WSET courses, which as well as being prerequisites for many in the hospitality industry are also popular for wine enthusiasts who enjoy taking a structured approach to their wine studies. These are held in Manchester city centre, and we also offer online courses which you can undertake in the comfort of your own home. The school is owned by award-winning wine writer Simon Woods. Simon and the expert team love talking about wine in an interesting and informal way. Whether you are a complete beginner or a long-term wine lover looking to spruce up your knowledge, we offer an enthusiastic welcome to our wine tasting events and masterclasses.
