The Barking Dog Alehouse and Kitchen. The Barking Dog is in Urmston's former main post office with many original features retained. The pub offers locally sourced, home cooked pub food specialising in pies. Listed in CAMRA's Good Beer Guide 2021, 2022 and 2023, expect locally sourced cask ales and world beers, fine selection of wines, gins, rums and cocktails. Rombouts coffee is also available. Family and dog friendly with lots of entertainment and events (see social media pages). There is a Snug, which is available for private dining and private hire free of charge for groups of 10-20 people. Large outside seating area. Great playlists with an emphasis on Manchester music.
