The Red Lion is a modern take on a traditional pub offering a cosy atmosphere and warm welcome in a historic venue. We’re the perfect pub in Withington to catch up with friends over a couple of pints of craft ale or for a bite to eat with family. Our large, secluded beer garden is a great space to catch some rays in the sun or pick a seat next to a real fire in the tap room when the Manchester rain pours. Our new spring menu for 2025 is packed with pub favourites and our bar is stocked with fantastic cask ales, lagers, gins and wines. Sunday’s is a day of roast – we offer a fantastic Sunday pub lunch with bottomless gravy and Yorkshire puddings with our roasts – please book early as this is a popular occasion.
