The Upper Room Cafe
About
Our vision is to serve the local community. We are a community cafe run by a team of staff and volunteers from St Mary's & St Cuthbert's Churches and the wider community of Cheadle. We have created a welcoming space, allowing for social distancing so you can feel safe and relaxed whilst you meet with family and friends. We have a number of groups that meet within the cafe space during the week. Find us off Massie Street carpark next to the rear entrance of Tesco Express. We are up on the 1st floor. We have lift access, easy access for wheelchairs and pushchairs, disabled toilets and baby change facilities. We serve a range of teas, coffees, cakes, and light lunches including homemade soup, made-to-order paninis, and jacket potatoes. If you'd like to come and join our team please get in touch! We have volunteers from age 14 to 84 and you don't need any previous experience. Opportunities range from helping with kitchen prep, serving food orders, baking cakes to washing up.
